At Pinal Lodge 30, we guide candidates through three traditional degrees of Masonry, each building upon the last to create a deeper understanding of our craft. Like the Medieval stonemasons before us, each Brother must demonstrate proficiency in the principles and lessons of each degree before advancing.
First Degree: Entered Apprentice
Your Masonic journey begins with this solemn introduction to our fraternity. As an Entered Apprentice at our Casa Grande lodge, you'll:
- Receive your first Masonic teachings
- Learn fundamental moral and ethical principles
- Begin to understand our symbols and traditions
- Earn the honored title of "Brother"
Second Degree: Fellowcraft
Following the tradition of ancient craft guilds, the Fellowcraft degree represents advancement in Masonic knowledge. In this degree, you'll:

- Explore our philosophical teachings
- Build upon the foundations laid in your first degree
- Prepare for your final step toward full membership
Third Degree: Master Mason
The Master Mason degree marks your completion of the ancient craft degrees. Upon receiving this degree at Pinal Lodge 30, you'll:
- Become a full member of our brotherhood
- Gain the right to visit Masonic lodges worldwide
- Share in all the privileges and responsibilities of membership
- Join a tradition of Master Masons that spans generations in our community
